Volvo Repair: gas tank pressure, volvo dealer, steel tank

Jimmy, my 2002  S80 2.9 non-turbo has recently been extremely difficult to add gas to. The anti-spill feature on the pump nozzles in my area seem to be detecting either pressure or slow rate of fill, spits fuel out, and eventually shuts down the flow of gas into the tank. The result is it takes 15 minutes to add 1/2 tank. Any ideas??

2 things  first you have to take it to Volvo dealer to check proper fuel vent around the filler neck special procedure for that   if clogged clean or replace   2 if that is ok than  you have to see if you have steel tank there update for that  new flapper door adapter inside fuel tank  i hope it helps   don't forget  to rate  me
