Volvo Repair: 1994 940 TURBO STALLING AND A/C, head gasket, summer thanks

My Volvo just recently started to to stall at red lights and/or not restart. I let it sit for a 5-10 mins. and we are going again. Just recently had timing belt/head gasket replaced. Next question, with the a/c on, I will accelerate and the air seems to go from the vents to the defroster vents or some place behind the dash. Once I've backed off a little it comes back to the front. Texas is hot and very humid this summer. thanks

Preston, the stalling can be a number of things so I dont want to guess.  Most likely its a fuel relay or impulse sensor issue.  The vent problem is one of the vacuum servos has a leak and needs to be replaced.  The common one that goes first is the recirc door servo.  Roger
