Volvo Repair: transmission, transmission flush, little time

Question
hello, i own a 1992 960 wagon w/135,000 mi,appox. At times i will experience a shuttering (quite intense) when braking. This does not occur all the time but i can tell when it will happen by a slight change in sound (slight vibration). I am also experiencing transmission issue. Car will shift fine cold but after warm up transmission seems to search for gear around 2nd and 3rd (30 to 35 mph range). Not sure if this is related. Any info will be appreciated, thanks.

Probably not related...You probably have warped rotors and a failing transmission.Check fluid level/condition of  transmission, flush the transmission if it smells burnt or fluid is discolored, it might buy you a little time or it could "kill" the transmission.
