Volvo Repair: Volvo 2.4T 2001 Air Conditioner, proper diagnosis, coolant

When I run my air conditioner the car runs rough. At times, it is like I am in a truck. I am also having to fill the coolant a bit  more than normal. Are the two related? Any suggestions on what might be the problem?

Debbie, no they are not related.  Coolant is different than A/C.  I would have the car checked out by a Volvo shop.  Something in the cooling system is leaking if you have to keep filling it up.  As far as running rough, it may be a number of things. The car would have to be scanned for a proper diagnosis.  Roger
