Volvo Repair: Headlamp cleaning, repair, volvo s80 t6, volvo s80

I have a 2001 Volvo S80 T6, on which I replaced the factory H7 low beam and high beam headlights with xenon equivalents.  The right side of the car is fine.  However on the left side I have blown three fuses, have intermittent periods where the low beam and/or the high beam work/don't work, and the headlight lens has taken on a cloudy yellowish appearance.

I have tried to clean it from the outside, and obviously it is on the inside of the headlamp.

What can I do about cleaning the headlight lens and what do I do about the intermittent behavior?

Randy, there is nothing you can do with the yellowness.  There are cleaners that claim to clean it but it doesnt work.  Ive tried them all.  I would get a new headligh assembly.  The behavior sounds like its a problem inside the assembly.  Ive seen those wires go bad and act strange.  Roger
