Volvo Repair: Ignition key removal problem, silicone spray, model volvo

Sometimes the key will not remove from the iginition switch.  If I leave the car for 15 minutes and return, it comes right out? What service is required?  Thanks   Bob

Robert, Im assuming you have a late model Volvo since you failed to follow the instructions and forgot to tell me what model you have.  If you have a shift overide button, that sometimes get stuck and you have to push the stick all the way forward.  We just clean them and spray a silicone spray, and push the button in and out a few times and problem is good for a while until dirt gets stuck in there again.  Roger
