Volvo Repair: 240DL VOLVO not firing, injector pulse, doral

Question
The car is a 1986 240DL. So your saying if the FCU does not have a pulse then this is why the car is not firing? I had the one the injectors out test and it is spraying fuel. Thank again.

If there is no injector pulse then the car will not run. Its all connected.  What year is this thing again?  Roger

Doral, okay, forget that theory.  The only other thing I can figure out is that you have a bad ignition control unit.  I know you replaced it but its posssible you got a bad one. I cant go any further on this one with you.  This is one that I would have to look at.  There can be multiple problems and hidden ones that I cant describe for you.  Good luck.  Roger
