Volvo Repair: 94 Volvo 940 turbo wagon odometer, volvo 940, turbo wagon

My odometer failed at 339499.  Does the odometer work off the speedometer or off a separate sensor?  How do I fix it.

Bill, Sorry to say but this one cannot be repaired very easy.  you can try a speedo shop but they may not be able to fix it.  I have played with a few junk ones, they are not very user friendly like the mechanical ones.  Proper repair would be a whole new speedo head.  Roger
