Volvo Repair: Radio Volvo, volvo dealer, radio code

Hi,

My Battery died on my car; after I got the new Battery my radio was not working and was asking for a code! I tried to enter codes I thought it might be....none were correct! Now that I do have the code, when I go to enter it just turns on and OFF is written! How do I get it back to where I could re-enter the correct code?

leave key in ignition position 1  and radio on displaying off for 2-3 hours on after that it will reset  and say code but you have to remove the radio take it to volvo dealer to parts department  and they will give you corect radio code you just have to bring the radio to them and proof of ownership  or they can do it for you in service if you dont know how to remove radio for a fee
