Volvo Repair: electrical/relay problems, electrical relay, vague descriptions

this is a followup to a prior question- yes, i do hear the fuel pump
running. i thought the reason the pump was not getting power was
because there was no spark in the spark plugs so i replaced the
distributor but it still will not start

Nick, well what do you want from me?  I keep getting vague descriptions of stuff that you are doing.   There is a supression relay, there is an ignition power stage, and also the ignition control module.  If there is no spark, then the pump shouldnt be running.  you may be dealing with a lot of issues here.  I cant fix the car from here without your help.  Roger
