Volvo Repair: 960 rear main seal replacement, 1997 volvo 960, volvo 960

1997 volvo 960...ruined the first rear main seal putting it on..had it greased up good but still no luck..how do i get it on there without ruining it ?

Ron, very carefully.  I wouldnt use anything but a volvo seal, you dont want to have to do that again. you neeed to start it on one side then kinda twist it on a little, then use a small hammer to tap it in place.  Thats the best I can do without showing you how.  Roger
