Volvo Repair: headlights, mechanical skills, headlights

1992 240 with 186,000 miles. Headlights don't work, parking lights do. Both lights out at same time so I don't think its bulbs. Couldn't find fuse for headlights on door post? Where is it? Under the hood relay? Reasonable mechanical skills

Hi Marc,
       I think the relay you are looking for is located in the floor area on drivers side...if you look about 1/2 way across and about 2/3rd's of the way up in the floor area..often tucked away behind the carpet and behind a metal floor panel...I think it's white..unlikely that both headlights are blown.
