Volvo Repair: 1994 Volvo 940 Turbo Sedan, 1994 volvo 940, fuel pump relay
QuestionMy 1994 Volvo 940 Turbo with 145,000 miles began stopping for no apparent reason. I would be driving along at low speeds and it will just quit. All dash lights come on. It will restart and not do it again for a week or two. The check engine comes on sometimes with code 411. I have had a tuneup with new parts and fuel filter replaced. My mechanic said he did not think it was the fuel pump. Hope this is enough info. I have some mechanical skills and a "mechanic". Thanks, Jim
AnswerJames...
Your problem has many possible reasons.
Failing electrical connections...fuel pump relay...fuse box with bad fuses...bad gas...wiring coming from pos. battery has bad connection..computer connector or component failure...others.
Wish I could be more helpful.
Good luck,
