Volvo Repair: volvo runs great and mysteriously stalls, poor college kid, check fuse

oh hey   may name is adam and i bought an 83 240 volvo turbo wagon over the summer. It didnt run great so i did a lot of tune up work to it myself, but it will still stall mysteriously after about 40 miles or so of steady driving. When it runs, it runs GREAT! when it stalls it will buck and jerk and then just die and then it will have a lot of trouble starting again.It will just turn over. It really wont even start. Most times i let it sit for about 10 hours or so and then it will start. no joke! I have put in new parts: fuel filter, fuel injectors, spark plugs, wires, rotor, cap, coil, alternator, air filter,and changed all the vacuum lines. Thats about all i can think of. i have inspected the fuel system and found that both pumps are working, but i have not checked the fuel pressure. I have two relay switches on order, but your insight would be greatly appreciated. sorry about the length, but i wanted to give you as much info as possible so maybe you could figure this out. im a poor college kid and im frustrated. thank you very much.

       Check fuses on the fuse box....clean all corrosion and replace fuses with brass ones...NEVER USE ALUMINUM
         check connection at E C U on r/front fender area
           Check fuse in engine compartmant..l/fender.
         check wiring as it connects to battery.
