it will start and then will bog down after about 5 to 10 seconds and than stall

Hi Scott,.

     Many reasons for why your 240 runs poorly...
    Check your air mass meter...see if it runs better w/o it being connected ...if it does...need a AMM.
     you may have fuel delivery problem...fuel filter/pump...press reg.
 you need gauges to truly find fuel pump problems..

  Sounds like you need some advice from a local mechanic
           who can do hands on.
