Volvo Repair: 240 DL radio, radio out, cassette deck

I have a 1990 240 DL Sedan.  I have been trying to take the
radio out.  The cassette deck doesn't work and I'd like to fix
that if I could.  I might also replace it.  Thanks a lot.

you will need to remove the 2 square trim pieces next to the radio.then remove the glove box so you can reach in to the back of the radio and push the tab on the bracket that is on the back of the radio.there is a tab that needs to be pushed down so the radio bracket fits through the bracket on the dash.
