Volvo Repair: How to install latch for rear third seat volvo v 70 1998, volvo v 70, auto parts store

Thanks for your time. I have a broken latch on my rear third seat in my volvo. It is the latch that holds the seat up. The latch should hook into the 2nd row seat but mine is broken off.  I have ordered the replacement parts but they did not come with a diagram.. Looking for some help. DO I just pop off the plate cover on the seat to install that latch or do I have to take apart the seat to get at it? Thanks for your time! Whittney Shaffer

you will need to lift the head rests and then pull up the back cushion on that seat to get to the screws that hold the latch on.the cushion will lift away from the wood at the bottom part and then lift up towards the head rests to come off.the screws are torx 20 screws.which is a special screwdriver you can purchase at an auto parts store or sears.
