Volvo Repair: AC VENTS, side ac, lothing

Question
hello.  My side AC vents look like they have filters, but they are falling apart and coming out in pieces when the air is on.  How do I take the side air vents off?

just insert a small screwdriver beside the vent and pry it outwards.this foam is from one of the air duct doors in the ventilation systm.the foam missing will not harm anything.if the foam lands on you or a nice piece of clothing do not wipe at it blow it off of you or it will smear into the lothing.
