Volvo Repair: Transmission, forward speeds, flare type

Question
I need to replace the down shift cable on my 1990 740 wagon how will I know which cable I need, I see they list 2 diffrent they are  ZF4HP22 trans & AW70

Answer
on the drivers side of the transmission above the oil pan is a plate that will tell what kind it is.also a zf has 4 forward  speeds listed on the shifter.where a aw has only 3 forward speeds listed.also zf transmission line where they attach to the transmission use banjo typ fittings where an aw uses regular flare type fittings.
