BMW: Default Radio Code, 525i bmw, radio code

I have a 1992 525i BMW and changed out the battery. The Radio asks me to enter a code. Can you help?

 Yep this is a common problem.  It's an antitheft thing.  Look through your owners manual, most people write the code in it somewhere.
 If you dont find it, call the dealership and give them the VIN and they should be able to help you out.
