QuestionHi, thank you to take few minutes to answer my questions!
I would like to know your opinion on the Acura TL 1999 (American model), and where is it built? Also, I would like to know waht are the priorities we must put to ourselves while byuing a used car.
Thank you
AnswerI love the 1999 TL. I think it's a great car, and personally, I would not mind owning one. I am not sure where they are made, but my guess is the Southeast US.
As for buying used cars. Look at Consumer Reports and see how they rate the car. A 1999 TL may still be under warranty too. Look at the inside of the car. If the interior is not well kept, it's a good indication that the engine was not well taken care of either. Also Acura's hold their value very well. It might not be much more money to purchase a new TL instead of the used one.
If your buying a used Acura, ask to see the owners manual and see if the current owner kept records of oil changes, maintance and the like. The book has a specific place to track this info and usually if the dealer does the work, they will indicate that info in the book.
Hope I have helped, please feel free to ask more questions if you need. Best of luck.
