Acura recommends using 91 octane premium unleaded gasoline for the 2024 RDX. While the engine can run on regular 87 octane fuel, using premium fuel is said to maximize engine performance and efficiency.
Using a lower octane fuel than recommended can cause knocking or pinging noises, reduced engine performance, and increased fuel consumption.
