Hi Thomas, thank you for taking my question.
I recently took my 2000 buick lesabre in to buick dealership to take care of a recall notice.
they attached a note saying upper intake manifold leaking, needs fuel filter. is this a big job? If i take this to a mechanic, can you give me a ball park figure of how much i should pay.

It depends on EXACTLY WHERE the leak IS and IF it only requires tightening a couple of bolts on the intake to cimpletly removing the intake and replacing the intake gasket.

The fuel filter is a 15 minute job.

Intake labor: $60.00 to $600.00.

fuel filter labor: $25.00
