Cadillac: 93 Cadillac 60 Special, gas cap, fuel pump

The car starts and then after I shut it off it doesn't start.  However, the horn works and the inside lights work.  The battery is only a couple years old.  There's no buildup on the connectors.  Any ideas?

1. remove the gas cap.

2. have someone listen for the fuel pump to make a buzzing sound for only 2 seconds as you turn the ignition switch to the ON position ONLY. Do NOT try and start the engine.

If you do NOT hear the 2 second buzzing of the fuel pump the relay is most likely no good and needs to be replaced.
