QUESTION: I have 18psi on the fuel line, would that mean a bad fuel pump, or could the computer be causing the fuel pump not to work. Where are the computers located and is there a way to test them. Both computers will be over $200. so I want to know if there is a way to test them.

Disconnect the fuel return line at the throttle body.
Connect flex hose between fitting and a suitable container.
Check pressure with ignition switch ON.
If it is still above 12 lbs, replace fuel meter assembly in the gas tank.
if it is 9 to 12 lbs, repair restriction in the fuel return line.
