Cadillac: cadillac problem, cadillac deville, vehicle electronics

hi my uncle's 95 cadillac deville is saying battery voltage too high. we are wondering how to fix this at home, and why it's happening. any suggestions?

You either have a fault in the:

alternator
PCM computer
instrument panel cluster
faulty ground.

there is an EXTENSIVE diagnostic procedure to test all these circuits of which I can provide you with IF you are quite knowledgeable in vehicle electronics.

If not, have a service facility perform all the tests.
