Questionthank you so much for the info, the local cadillac dealer couldn't even figure the codes out. I know exactly where the outside temp circuit is, I think it may have been over looked in the repairing process and is probably not even on the car, my mistake. On the 'open third or fourth gear' problem how do I trouble shoot and fix that? is there something simple that can be replaced cause I have lots of extra parts. thanks again

Question -
I have been doing a lot of restoring of '91-'93 sedan devilles this past year and parting out of '92-'97 sevilles, I just got a '91 sedan deville that landed up missing the computer, I replaced it with one from a '92, engine starts, car moves, trans starts in 2nd(which I found in the past can be fixed by replacing the 15 amp fuse under the dash) fuse keeps popping, I have the manuel to the '92 and there are some codes coming up that aren't listed: E28 and F10, I tried erasing them and the F10 will not erase. Is this EPROM related? or does the E28 and F10 relate to something else? thanks
Answer -
F10 = outside air temp circuit problem.
The air temp sensor is located in front of the radiator just below the hood latch.
E28 = Open 3rd or 4th gear circuit.
This is probably what is blowing your fuse.
