I have a 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood and the automatic trunk closer doesn't work. How can I fix this?

Does the vehicle have the REMOTE CONTROL DOOR LOCK system and THEFT DETERRENT ?.

There are 2 systems WITH the above system and WITHOUT the above system.

I need to know EXACTLY which one you have.

I have neither of those. The trunk is supposed to close by itself and it doesn't. I have to slam the trunk shut. Does this help?
