Chevrolet: A/C blows hot air, side vent, vacuum switch

Question
The A/C blows cold then will start to blow hot from the driver side vents only.  If I shut the car off and restart it will start to blow cold air again.  This happens intermittently.

Have you checked to see if the drivers side vent is stuck closed, if you get cold air out of all of the other vents than the A/C is working if you were not getting any cold air than it would be broken or out of fluid.it might be sucking the vacuum switch closed and than re-open check it to see if it is open like all the rest
