Do you know where the Cam Sensor is located on a 1998 chevy Silverado?

Hea- well it is hard to explain but it is next to the cam itself. it should stick out about 2 inches from the motor and have a  cover on it, how or why do you think  the sensor is bad, if you had a OBDII tell you it was bad , it can still be some other thing under the cap. so look real god.
