Chevrolet: Octane booster., sunfire gt, octane booster

I own a 2001 Sunfire GT and I was wondering if there is any benefit to using an octane booster?  I am not having any problems with my car but just heard that adding an octane booster can be good.  Is this true?

Hi- well you should have no trouble with the gas that is at the pumps , you can put some additive into it but I think you would just be wasting your money. I could see if it was a hot rod or a motor from the 60 or 70s . but your car is made to burn the gas that is sold now a days.You can try it and see if it helps.
