Chevrolet: HELP !!! MY IMPALA IS SLOOOW!, monte carlo ss, summit racing

Okay i have a 2002 impala base 3.4L 3400 v6 i have like 180hp 0 trq help i raced a 2003 monte carlo ss v6 3800 3.8L and i got baked buy at least 3 cars. i dont wanna swap engines just want more power from mine. air intake ? chip ? remove converter ? do those things work. what can i do ?

HI;  well  first off a six is a six. I have heard that the intake air cleaners do boost the power.  also you can look in (jc whitney.com) also (summit racing.com) and you should find a bunch of bolt on items that will help you out a bit.  ok. a chip might help  a little bit. but lower your gas too .
