Chevrolet: Removing Window Crank from 1994 Geo Prism, needle nose pliers, 1994 geo prism

Question
I have to take the interior door panels off a 1994 Geo Prism LSI to pound out a dent.  I can't get the window cranks off easily.  Anyone know the trick?

  Hi - well the handle has a small  clip that is like a horse shoe it must be pushed out  from front to back , they have a tool for it but you can  use a screwdriver or needle nose pliers . the clip is in the back of the handle
-it can be a pain at times to get it off.
