My 2000 Cavalier has been recently having problems starting.  Occasionally, after driving the car for over 30 minutes & then stopping to do shopping, etc., when trying to restart the car, the engine will begin to start then quit.  It will not fire.  After about a 10-15 minute wait, the car will then start.  The battery is good & there is plenty of gas.  Any ideas?

  I was wondering - how many miles  since the last tune up or service ? as now a days the new cars must  be kept up or soon you will have a lot of trouble with little things.  If you have a lot of miles since the last tune up I would first address that than see how the car runs after  ok
it could be a simple thing like a fuel filter , etc.
