Chevrolet: Rocker Arms, roller lifters, 72 nova

Hi, I just installed some roller tip rockers on my 72 Nova. I adjusted them motor running method. Turn down untill clacking stops and another quarter turn. I just wanted to know do these rockers have a more distinked sound? Not as quiet as stock rockers? Car runs great.  Thanks Rick

    I was wondering do you have a roller cam ? and roller lifters, and push rods ? and are the studs pined into the heads now ? or you just put the rockers on ?

You did adj. them the right way  for hyd. lifters.and if you only put the  Rockers  on, they should be ok and as far as the sound , as long as they are not hitting or rubbing on anything. than all should be fine.  OK  and I would re-adj. them after 500 miles or so .and give them a good look over . to see that they are not wearing or hitting any thing......
