Chevrolet: 91 Cavalier no start follow up question, cap etc, good shape

Roger, thanks for the info so far.
I checked for spark at a plug and can't see any. Also the service engine light does come on when it's trying to start. i'am not getting any fault codes on my code reader.
What do think.

      Well I wonder if that coil that was loose could be bad - is spark comming from it ?
If  there is no spark it could be a lot of things , you get no codes from it ? I would check for spark to the plugs and the coil. try that. how / is the distributor  and the cap , etc. in good shape .check all of the elect. system out.
