Chevrolet: advice, last long time, makes and models

Hello

  I am looking for a used american car for 2 to 5 thousand $'s, I need a small car that can save gas and last long time with fewer problems, please give me some makes and models that can fit my description.

      If you are looking for a good car that is good on gas and trouble free , I would look at imports as most US cars will eat gas, I would look for a Honda or Toyota as the gas prices now are crazy, and those two makes are good for hi milage with not much trouble as long as you keep them maintained such as oil and filter when needed,I would go for a Honda if I were you. ok
