Dodge: Parked car, chrysler, long time

Question
I have an opportunity to buy a 95 Chrysler with a 3.0 L engine-automatic trans-V6.  The seller says it has been parked for 8 months and not started. What concerns do I have? He is going to get a new battery to check out the engine and drive it. Comments please.

8 months is a long time for a car to be parked without starting it.You will definitely need to drain the gas(remove the tank).It depends on why the car has been parked for so long.I'd do a search for the 3.0,if i'm thinking of the right engine i believe they had a lot of problems with these engines.But it also depends on the price.Change the oil,
