Dodge: Hesitation, dodge ram van, ram van

Question
I have a 96 Dodge Ram Van 6cyl.  When the gas guage gets to 1/2 tank, the engine starts hesitating with a loss of power on acceleration.
I fill the tank back up and everything is fine until I get back down to 1/2 tank again.
What do you think is going on?

From what you are describing,it has to be a fuel pump issue.Have you changed the fuel filter?I would start by changing the fuel filter.But if it has to do with gas in the tank i would bet anything it's fuel pump related.Also i would check the fuel pressure.
