QuestionQUESTION: Tim
Your answer, check pressure - cylinders, all cylinders above 170 except #6 160. Fuel injector connector on #1, #3, and #5 no power, 2,4,6 power. 1,3,5 cylinder fire to plug, checked TFI module at autozone - ok, still think its bad!

ANSWER: Hi,
I am attaching a wiring diagram. As you can see, All the injectors get power from the EEC relay and are grounded (to open) in 2 banks , by the ECM. (1,3+5) (2,4+6)
so, With the injector disconnected, and you are still not getting battery voltage (key on)at the red wire on any injector, then you have a break in the wire from the Relay. If all injectors have power on red wires, but you still do not have a ground coming on while running on the tan/org wire, then you will need to check this wire at the ECM. Ground good here, but not at injectors+ broken wire. no ground here= bad ECM (computor)
ECM's are not common failures.. get all the numbers off of yours and see if a good used one is available, or go rebuilt, repaired or new.

QUESTION: Tim
Took connectors apart, and cleaned and find one ,connector apart some, reconnected, turned key on [#1 injector}_ and #2 injector has fire on both leads now.
start, and it still runs on 2,4,6 only. Find engine computer, side panel bottom driver, removed
AnswerOk... your message seems a bit cryptic.
Do you have power at every injector red wire with injector unplugged and key on?
If so, using a test light to battery positive, probe the wires (tan/ org)(tan/ red) at the injectors withy the connector unplugged and while cranking.
If you have on/ off and still no fire in some cylinders, then you have a dead injector(s), no/ poor spark, or cylinder probelms( ie: low compression, or valves not opening).
If you have no on/off switching, then you need to see if the ecm is sending the signal ( test the related wire (tan/org)(tan/red) at the ecm.
No switching here= bad ecm
