Ford: 85 f150 inline 6 300, float bowl, seat assembly

every now and then the carb. floods what causes this?

inside the carburetor. there is a float bowl above that there is a middle and seat assembly  these may be binding on you. to repair this you may have to have the carb. rebuilt.this should run about 125.00 to 150.00. also crack the fuel filter in the carburetor
