Ford: 1983 Ford F100, ford f100, ball hitch

Question
Can a 1983 Ford F100 with a V-6, 2wd tow a 5000 lb camper?  It would just be short trips, 30 miles or less.

Chris, it really depends on how you plan on towing it.  If you have a frame mounted bumper, just make sure everything looks welded properly.  You can buy a receiver for the truck and you would certainly not have to worry about a thing.  Just make sure that when you buy a ball hitch, it is rated for 5000 lbs or more.  I hope this helps,   Jason
