How do you remove the armrest on the drivers seat?

Well to start with fold the armrest down. Then use a tie rod splitter and insert that between the armrest and the seat. You may need to wiggle the tie rod splitter then upon removal there is a little bushing that would probably be damaged. Replace that bushing but in order to get it pliable I recommend placing it in hot water. install the bushing into the seat backrest then install the armrest again. I hope this helps you
