Ford: 98 merc. sable rear wheel bearings, rear wheel bearings, cotter pin
Questionthis a sedan with disc brakes on all wheels, need to know about the retainer nut how to remove it, torque when i install it, and thing else that would be helpful.
AnswerAfter removing the dust cap, the cotter pin and the tin cap over retainer nut, I believe it's 1-5/8 socket to remove retaining nut. When reinstalling tighten retaining nut until you just start to feel drag, While turning the rotor. Then follow the removal instructions in the reverse order.
