Ford: muffler removal desiel, ford f350, cutting torch

on a ford f350 desiel is it hard on the engine to remove the muffler, and pipe the exhaust out in front of the rear passenger tire.  Advantages/disadvatages??

Its always difficult to remove this. What I would do is take the parts out by sections, use a hacksaw, and cut it out. Replacing the parts once the old parts are removed is easy. (Caution) Dont use a cutting torch unless you know what your doing, a explosion could occur.. Ty
