I have a 2002 For Focus SE.  There seems to be a lot of shifting from 3rd to OD when I am going between 40 and 50 MPH.  Almost like shifting to and from neutral then into gear.  Have checked fluids and all seems OK.  Is this common or is it a sign of transmission problems.

brian how many miles do you have on this vehicle because you might want to ck with your dealer some vehiclethey extened the millage to 60,000.

brian you had this car at Bridgeman Bros. Motor Co.? pretty good ha.you also have a recall on this the # is o3mo2 it on your springs.go to the dealer tell them you got a note in the mail but you lost it but the TSB # was 03m02.and while you are there ask them what is the warr. on the focus trans.
