Ford: Ford Explorer, Starter Pblem, colume, starter relay
QuestionI have a 1996 Ford Explorer. When I turn the key, sometimes the car doesn't start. I know the juice is running and the battery is good, and I hear the click. I have already replaced the starter, so I know that the starter is not the problem. Sometimes I turn the key 10 times or so, and eventually it starts. It has been getting worse lately.
Thanks
AnswerI wonder if your ignition switch in the colume is bad. Then again you may have a bad relay to the starter. What I would do first is check the black box in the engine compartment, and see if the vehicle is equipped with a starter relay? Could be bad,, then again its hard to say.. Ty
