My stereo was working fine then a few days after I had a new alternator and battery installed I no long have sound from my speakers. I have a factory stereo with the factory CD changer in the trunk. The stereo comes on and the CD player works but just no sound. HELP!

who installed the battery if someone else did it and hook  up the batt. backwards you may have a problem. but first look at the radio to see if the radio is set on something else.is there any thing comming up  on the screen,is the vol.showing up when you turn it up?  is it flashing  are there any other num. besides the radio stations ? let me know


****I installed the battery. I know it was hooked up right. The screen works fine and it shows the radeo stations or a disk playing, I just don't have any sound at all. It also shows the volume and everything else.

G1 PERFORM RADIO SPEAKER TEST

 
Turn on the radio.
Press and hold memory preset buttons 3 and 6 simultaneously to start the radio speaker test.


Does sound come from each radio speaker during the radio speaker test?
