Ford: ENGINE REMOVAL, easer, assm

HI,
 I HAVE A 94 ESCORT WITH A 1.9L. I AM REPLACING THE MOTOR. I HAVE RUN INTO A FEW PROBLEMS.  WHEN REMOVING THE MOTOR DO I HAVE TO REMOVE TRANSMISSION WITH IT OR CAN I LEAVE IT IN.  IF I CAN LEAVE IT IN HOW DO I GET THE FLYWHEEL TO CLEAR THE TRANSMISSION.

the way i remove it i drop the whole sub frame and take out the eng  and trans assm. at once  this makes it a whole lot easer because this way you don't have to hold the trans up  but to ans your question yes it will come out and it will clear the trans but make sure you remove the motor mount thats on the passenger side frnder you have to take out the whole thing.         good luck
