Ford: blows fuse, starter solinoid, ford probe

Question
I have a 91 ford probe. When I try to start the car it blows the engine fuse. The fuse only blows when engaging the starter. The starter turns the engine over ok, but will not start. Have done nothing to the car that might have created this problem. Any ideas would be helpful.

what i would first do is disconect the wire going to the starter solinoid and try to crank the car over. now i know it won't crank but what you are doing is trying to find were the short is at.it it does not blow the fuse then your problem is your starter if it does the you have other problems .let me know
